Dynamic Record page: Have two sections with Detail fields. So both are showing on New record and Edit screen. I don't want them both to show.

Hi everyone,

I'm working in Salesforce Reports (Lightning) and trying to build a summary formula that displays each internal rep’s % to quarterly goal, based on custom expected values per rep per quarter.

Setup:

  • Object: Invoices__c
  • Grouping Rows: Internal Rep: Full Name (via Account → Internal_Rep__c → Name)
  • Grouping Columns: not currently used — instead, I filter one report per quarter (e.g. Q3)
  • Summary Field: MaterialLineAmount__c (summed per rep)

Challenge:

I want to create a

summary formula column that divides each rep’s total MaterialLineAmount__c for the quarter by their specific quarterly goal. These goals are different for each rep. For example:

Rep Name Q3 Goal: 8,283,970

Rep Name Q3 Goal: 2,761,323

Rep Name Q3 Goal: 1,643,915

...etc.

I've tried all of the following:

  • Referencing 'Account Name: Internal Rep: Full Name' in summary formulas
  • Creating a bucket column (Rep Name Bucket) to use as a stable group reference
  • Writing nested IF logic in a summary formula:

IF('Rep Name Bucket' = "Jason Gao", (SUM(MaterialLineAmount__c) / 8283970) * 100, NULL)

Valid syntax, no errors — but it always returns null or –

Is this simply beyond what summary formulas can support?  Open to creative workarounds or confirmation that I’m hitting a known limitation.

Thanks, Jake

I am wondering if anyone had any experience migrating File attachments from CRM to FSC.  What are some of the tools you leveraged to do the migration if the file count over 100,000. Or did you use the ETL to bring the data to FSC.

Hi Community,

Is there a way to render a PDF file stored on a specific record (as an Attachment or in ContentVersion) directly within the Agentforce service agent’s response view?

I want the agent to see the PDF content inline without needing to download or open it in a new tab. Any suggestions on how to achieve this using standard Salesforce features like LWC or Visualforce?

Thanks in advance!

I have two account record types 'housing entity' and 'group'. I have field 'active members ' values on 'group' type accounts and 'facility capacity' values on 'Housing entity' record types. Now I want to have a formula field on housing entity layout page where I want to divide field 'facility capacity' from 'Housing entity' type /'active members' from 'group' account record type from the same 'Account' object. How can I achieve the same?

Currently when I do, I get active members as blank on housing entity page as values are on group type.

    Hi @Arthi Annadi

First you'll need to establish a

    relationship

between the two Account records first, since both fields are on the same object but under different record types.

    Create a new field:

    • Field Type: Lookup (Account)
    • Field Label: Group Account
    • Field Name: Group_Account__c

Add this lookup field to the Housing Entity page layout.

Now create a formula like the one below -

    IF(

        AND(

            NOT(ISBLANK(Facility_Capacity__c)),

            NOT(ISBLANK(Group_Account__r.Active_Members__c)),

            Group_Account__r.Active_Members__c > 0

        ),

        Facility_Capacity__c / Group_Account__r.Active_Members__c,

        NULL

    Hope this makes some sense.

    Thanks

Hi all,

Good day!

Curious to know or speak to someone from the community who has build a full end to end Slack workplace including Enterprise AI search, Slack agentic actions etc.

Would love to learn more about the art of possible, challenges, use cases.

Basically we are trying to make Slack as a one-stop-shop smart workplace application, where users can interact via an agentic way or through basic workflows, and perform day to day tasks.

Thanks

I recently scheduled the Agentforce certification exam through Webassessor, but I understand that Webassessor will no longer be supported for Salesforce certifications. Given this change, I would like to kindly inquire if it's possible to reschedule my certification exam through Trailhead Academy without incurring any additional cost.  Your guidance on the next steps would be greatly appreciated.

Thank you in advance for your support.

    Hi @Dev Prakash

    Reschedule policy -

    https://trailhead.salesforce.com/en/help?article=Exam-Reschedule-and-Cancellation-Policy

Q: What will happen if my Salesforce exam is scheduled for a date after July 13, 2025, and I do not cancel or reschedule it?

A: If you do not reschedule or cancel your Salesforce exam by July 13, 2025, it will be canceled on that date. You will receive an email on July 15, 2025, with a voucher code to register for an exam in the new certification experience starting July 21, 2025.

Q: The last day to take a Salesforce exam in the current experience is July 13, 2025. What should I do if my exam is scheduled for a date after July 13, 2025?

A: If your Salesforce exam is scheduled after July 13, 2025, you have two options in Webassessor

    1. Reschedule your exam to a date before July 13, 2025.

    2. Cancel your existing exam and schedule a new exam

in the new Salesforce certification experience starting July 21, 2025.

Q: I used a Salesforce voucher code to schedule my exam in Webassessor. If I cancel that exam prior to July 13, 2025, can I use the same voucher code to schedule an exam in the new certification experience?

A: Yes, you can reuse your voucher code in the new certification experience, but it depends on the expiration date. If your voucher code expires after July 21, 2025, you will be able to use the same code to schedule your exam in the new system once registration opens. If your voucher code expires before

July 21, 2025, the code will no longer be valid and cannot be used in the new system.

Q: I paid to schedule my Salesforce exam. If I cancel it prior to July 13, 2025, how will I be reimbursed?

    A. If you cancel your exam, your payment will be refunded to your original payment method.
