How can I automatically assign a timesheet to a service resource?

I’ve already created the timesheet template, but I’m not sure when or how the timesheet gets created for the service resource.

Hi Amit, Timesheets should be created in the related section of the Service Resources. If Timesheet is not in the related list of Service resource object, please include in page layout and check if it generated.

In case the timesheet is still not present, could you please check on the Related section of Time Sheet Template? It will log the automatic timesheet execution batch status.

I am facing an issue where Data Cloud Triggered Flow (fires on create/update) is not firing when ingesting data using Manual File Upload or Amazon S3. After checking the Automated User logs, I observed that the DataObjectDataChgEvent platform event—which is essential to trigger the flow—is not being published.

Interestingly, when data is ingested using the Ingestion API (tested from Postman), the flow triggers as expected on insert/update.

Could anyone please advise or share insights on why the platform event might not be triggering in these scenarios?

    Hello @ABHISHEK PUNDIR

It looks like DataObjectDataChgEvent isn't firing when ingesting data via Manual File Upload or Amazon S3, but works fine with the ingestion API Since the event is crucial for triggering your Data Cloud Triggered Flow, check below few things -

    1. Ensure that Data Cloud support event generation for file-based ingestion methods might not trigger platform events automatically.

    2. Check the Data Cloud refresh history to see if ingestion errors are preventing event publication. You can review common ingestion failures.

    https://help.salesforce.com/s/articleView?id=data.c360_a_refresh_history.htm&type=5

    3. Confirm that your flow is correctly subscribed to DataObjectDataChangeEvent and that the event schema matches expected values.

You can find details on this event-

    https://developer.salesforce.com/docs/atlas.en-us.platform_events.meta/platform_events/sforce_api_objects_dataobjectdatachgevent.htm

    4. If file-based ingestion doesn't support event firing, consider using scheduled flow or batch processing to detect updates.

I have a csv file giving information such as county, district, ward, constituency, parish and other data by postcode. This links to our Salesforce Contacts by the postcode field.

I want to be able to report on the number of Contacts in different geographical areas.  What is the best and easiest way to achieve this?

Up to now have been exporting the data to manipulate it but time consuming and means that don't tend to have very up-to-date information.

    Hi Rosie

You can try enable Salesforce Territory Management with instructions available as per below:

    https://resources.docs.salesforce.com/202/18/en-us/sfdc/pdf/salesforce_implementing_territory_mgmt2_guide.pdf

Furthermore, there is available tools which can enable you to display data on a regional map as per trailhead module available here:

    https://trailhead.salesforce.com/content/learn/modules/wave_exploration_dashboard_navigation/wave_work_the_dashboard?trailmix_creator_id=strailhead&trailmix_slug=architect-data-architecture-and-management

    I hope this helps!

Hi Salesforce Mobile Team, and community group members.

My colleagues and I recently observed that when we enable Dynamic Forms on Mobile, an offline setting, "Enable offline create, edit, and delete in Salesforce for Android and iOS" disappears from the setup menu. We cannot find any documentation that directly addresses this, so I am seeking clarification. Listed in the considerations it reads, "Record-home offline priming isn’t supported. If you’re using AURA-based priming, you can’t pre-cache your most recently used records. Offline draft edits to record pages aren’t supported when Dynamic Forms on Mobile is enabled." Does this imply our customers cannot use Dynamic Forms on Mobile and continue to use the offline create, edit, and delete functionality together? Thank you, we appreciate your help in clarifying this matter.

@Jorgan Strathman : The issue with Dynamic Forms and the standard app's offline support is that it uses a caching layer that is not currently Draft aware, therefore it will not work. However, yes we do have work to make this draft aware on the roadmap.

I have created a Service agent where I am planning to add the 'Query Records' agent action in the agent builder. However, I cannot find the 'Query Records' agent action in the agent builder. I do see the 'Query Records' agent action in the Agentforce Asset Library. Has anyone faced a similar issue? Does anyone know the fix for this?

Hello,

We are looking at still based routing for Voice to hopefully give the agents the ability to move agents between types of calls on the fly in omni channel. Is anyone successfully doing this? Or knows a better way to be more flexible? Currently using routing profiles with mapped queues in Amazon and admins have to update users routing profiles to move queues/take different types of calls.

Thanks

Need to compare individual record (e.g., a vehicle repair record) against large historical datasets using dynamic filters (make, model, year, etc.). The goal is to detect alignment or deviation from historical trends with explainable outputs. But i am not able to see a way in which data cloud supports dynamic querying like if record has Honda Accord and only compare the field values of past Honda vehicle repair records only.

Is there a solution that supports this type of record-to-historical dataset comparison?

Any insights or recommendations would be greatly appreciated!

Tried this already but the insight is just a trend based on past data. I need comparison of one single record with thousands of records that can be shown on the case record. For example, flag a record if the part is unusual for  a type of vehicle repair.

Hi all,

I did a

stacked bar chart with different modifications done in query mode

.

The bar chart shows, per month, sum of sales ($) of two different products.

Now, I want to create a toggle/pillbox with the goal to have the availability to change the measure between SUM of sales ($) and COUNT of products sold.

My challenge is to apply the toggle/pillbox to a stacked bar chart that it was edited in query mode. I imagine that I need to apply this toggle in the query and/or in the JSON.

Some help on this please?

Thanks,

Xisco
