in my existing salesforce org File storage is almost full. Majority of the occupancy is from Images. Hence I want to compress images which are greater than 1MB. These images are linked to several objects like Work order,Quotes,opportunity , etc. How can I achieve the compression without loosing the mapping of those images to their respective object records.

Hello - I am attempting to send an email out the day after a survey expires. I have the following formula to send an email the day AFTER the survey expires. The expire field is a Date/Time field. The email is not triggering and every time I run a debug it states the outcome wasn't met. Is something wrong with my formula?  

I  need a YOY % change report for Events. This would be a comparison of scheduled events for this month vs. this month last year and since would be a row count comparison, the formula doesn't work. 

Results needed:  By Assigned to, 2025 This month compared to 2024 this month , % change in number of events scheduled during that time. Example below of how I want the end result to look  

I created two formula check box fields for This Month and This Month Last year but cannot figure out the formula to compare the numbers.   

All suggestions welcome!

Hello all,

We've implemented a standard Field Service setup (no custom automation) for one of our customers using the Field Service Mobile app. Everything works well, except for one major issue involving Product Consumed records and delete permissions.

The issue:

When a Service Resource user opens the scanner to add a serialized product but then cancels before scanning a serial number, the app tries to delete a prematurely created Product Consumed record (Quantity = 0). Since the user

We've tried:

• Granting object-level delete access
• Sharing settings (Public R/W)
• Assigning "Modify All" on Work Order and other related objects
• Even making the user the record owner

Only granting "Modify All Data" system permission resolves it. But that's not a sustainable solution, especially when managing sensitive setups—imagine a user managing backend Field Service workflows while also handling something like a daycare near me platform or other responsibilities. You don’t want to hand out full system permissions just to bypass a small logic flaw.

Has anyone encountered this specific issue before? 

 Is there a granular permission or workaround that allows deleting the zero-quantity Product Consumed record

I have created a knowledge article in salesforce and I have embedded an image in the content.

Now, when I pull this article using an API

 (https://{hostURL}.my.salesforce.com/services/data/v56.0/support/knowledgeArticles/article_id

from the external system, I get an URL for that image which is there in the content. But I need to know where the actual binary of an image would be stored in salesforce so that I can download that image into an external system. Thanks
