New Sales Engagement user!

Does anyone else have issues copying and pasting an email from a google doc into the email template?  Every time we try to do this, we have either formatting issues or random characters that appear in the email body once it is actually sent.  Copy+paste beats having to manually type out the emails in each template!

Could this be a google doc limitation?  Appreciate any insight

Formatting is so problematic with the classic email templates.  I usually start my draft in Outlook (or you can try Word or Notes or anywhere else), copy and paste, and then prepare to make edits.  You have to look for incorrect work separations and paragraph separations.  I go to the new paragraph, backspace to the previous paragraph, hit shift enter to jump to the next line and enter again for spacing.  Bullet points are also challenging and always require manipulation.  ALWAYS send a test email.  I wish there was an easier way, but I haven't found one.

Okay so I've created  an object that would allow me to create intake forms. I created 6 record types for this object and 3 are on page layout 1 and the other 3 are on page layout 2. I've created some new fields and added them on the page layouts. They will not appear. I even tried to take a field that I previously added on the record type page layout and the field will not be removed. I have tried everything from going into private browser, clearing cache, unselecting enable secure and persistent browser caching to improve performance, I've done refresh. I can see the changes on the Lighting record page but I can't see or change anything on the page layout. I've checked field visibility.  Has anybody ever had this issue before?

Hi,

I am looking for a way to identify dashboards not refreshed in the last 365 days, to launch a cleaning initiative in my organization. Looks more complicated than I initially though. Quite easy to implement for reports (filtering on "Last Run")  but I could not find any  "Last Refresh" filtering possibility on the report type "Dashboard".

Any idea ? Thanks !

    Hey,

Yeah, this one’s sneakier than it should be. Unfortunately, standard report types don’t expose a Last Refreshed date for dashboards, and it's not tracked the same way as reports' Last Run. I hit the same wall a while back when trying to audit stale dashboards across orgs.

What worked for us was a workaround using Einstein Usage Logs. If you're on an edition that supports it, they can capture dashboard access and refresh events, but the setup takes a bit of digging. Another approach we tried (manual but effective) was exporting the full list of dashboards via the Metadata API and checking the last modified date, just to get a baseline of inactive or untouched ones
