Data and Actions in Flows - Communicate Using the Action Element

Create an Email Alert

  1. From the Activity tab on an account record, click to create an email.
  • Subject: Account change notice
  • Body: Your account record has changed. Feel free to add more elaborate text or merge fields as you wish.
  • Related To: verify that an account is selected
  1. Click and select Save as new template.
  • Template Name: Account Change
  • Folder: Public Email Templates
  1. From Setup, enter Email Alerts in the Quick Find box and then click Email Alerts.
  2. Click New Email Alert

  3. For Description, enter Notify Owner of Account Change.

Descriptions should be, well, descriptive, because it’s how you find the email alert you want in a long list of actions.

  4. For Unique Name, keep the default: Notify_Owner_of_Account_Change.
  5. For Object, select Account

Email Alerts are each tied to a specific object because the object defines the possible recipients. For example, because this email alert is related to the Account object, it has access to account-specific recipients such as Account Team members.

  6. Select an email template to use:
  • Click the magnifying glass () next to the Email Template field.
  • In the Lookup window, select Lightning and Public Email Templates.
  • Click the Account Change email template.

Missing dropdown in email alerts - Email Template

  1. For Recipient Type, select Owner.
  2. Under Recipients, move Account Owner from the Available Recipients list to the Selected Recipients list.

but for me in the lookup window one dropdown was missing for select

Dear all,

We are testing and debugging a "Data Capture Flow" but no details are displayed in the "Debug details" panel.

Do you have any idea why ?

Regards,

Hi everyone

At Vision Australia we are trying to understand the changes to billing for our service provider travel time spent getting to and from client homes to deliver services. Currently under Home Care Package (HCP) funding we bill a client's HCP budget for the full amount of travel to their home. We charge the same hourly rate and itemise it on a quote and subsequent invoice. The wording of the changes coming with Support At Home are not clear and happy to share experiences and thinking with this group! We are already having requests from case managers to not include travel in our invoices now. Any insight you  might have is very welcome!

    Hi ,

I figured this one out. I'm not sure why it happens, but something with new playgrounds created today. Here are the steps to fix:

    1. Click the App Launcher, type data, then click the Data Cloud app.
    2. Click the Data Model tab.
    3. Click the ExternalReservation record.
    4. Click the Relationships tab next to the Details tab.
    5. Click the Edit button in the Relationships section.
    6. Check the box to Show inactive relationships.
    7. Update the mapping to Contact records to be Active.
    8. Click the Save button.

You should now be able to create the related list. My apologies for no screenshots for steps 6-8. Didn't catch it as I went, and afterwards, it takes forever to load the ExternalReservation's Relationships records.

    Hi @Ahmad Maulana Parliyanto

I also faced similar issue, if the package is correctly installed beforehand in the org, go to the Position and Candidate field under the Job Application objects in object manager, then edit them and select the change field type and next -> next-> select read only and unselect Edit Access (IMPORTANT) in the header section for both the objects. Comeback to the permission set you created and now you can edit as per the challenge.

I am investigating how to stop schedule jobs when Hyperforce is migrated. In the articles it says to stop and then restart. But I am wondering if the schedule jobs have a job type other than schedule apex, how to stop and restart? Please help me!!!!

    Hi @Abhishek R

    ,

How to know which report notification job corresponds to which report?

0/9000
  • Create a permission set:
    • Label: Manage Job Applications
    • API Name: Manage_Job_Applications
    • Add a description (We won’t check for this.)
    • License: -None-
    • Enable Job Application Object Permissions: Read and Edit
    • Enable Job Application Field Permissions: Assigned users can view all fields and edit all fields, except they can’t edit Position and Candidate.

Problem:

Challenge not yet complete in Playground 2 for Certification

We can't find that the ‘Manage Job Applications’ permission set grants read access and edit access to all Job Application fields, except edit access for Position and Candidate.

I cannot figure out how to finish this problem. Any suggestions?!?!

So for this trailhead module Improve Field-Level Security Settings - Learn How, I have to create a permission set and I have to enable object permissions and field permissions for Job Application. I installed the Recruiting App package https://appexchange.salesforce.com/appxListingDetail?listingId=a0N300000016aa0EAA, created the Manage Job Applications permission set, and enabled the specified permission, yet when I click the Check Challenge button this error pops out We can't find that the ‘Manage Job Applications’ permission set grants read access and edit access to all Job Application fields, except edit access for Position and Candidate.

What am I doing wrong?
