Hello community, 

 

I developed a scheduled flow to update some leads. When I debug it, the lead used for debugging is updated correctly. However, when I activate the flow, I notice that nothing happens—even though it should be updating many lead records. 

 

Did you already faced the same scenario?

Hello dear Salesforce professionals and lovers,

We are setting up the case management process.  

We receive customer requests through various channels, primarily email and phone, also some others.

Typically, a single customer interaction includes several separate issues, and each one should be tracked and resolved independently.

I’m looking for your advice on how to design our case management model in Salesforce. I am sure it is pretty common casing workflow, and I would like to listen to your experience, insight and best practices, if you have a similar casing model. 

In our Salesforce we need to:

  • Capture all issues efficiently when they originate from a single interaction
  • Leverage standard Service Cloud capabilities to track, route, and report on cases
  • Support different case types
  • Ensure clear ownership and SLA tracking for each individual issue

What are some recommended best practices for structuring cases in this scenario?

Any advice, examples, or resources would be greatly appreciated!

Working my way through Trailhead modules. The current one asks me to do this  

 

  1. View Leung Chan’s contact record.
  2. Locate the Activity Timeline.
  3. Click Log a Call.
  4. Log the details of your call. (You’re the only one who knows what you just talked about, so only you can know what to enter here!)
  5. Click Save

     

    Problem is I can't find 'Log a Call' to save my life. The screen looks like this. (Ignore undefined. That was me trying to copy and paste)

I work for a small nonprofit, and we have been using the Weekly Export as our backup for our data.  I am aware this is not the best solution, but it is free and what my organization has used since we started with Salesforce. I am an "also admin", so I do not have developer or IT experience. This lack of experience has made it challenging to find a backup service that works for us at a reasonable price. We need a backup product that backs up all data and metadata that can easily be restored.  

 

OWN was recently purchased by Salesforce, and I think their product will work, but our leadership says it is too expensive. We currently have 10 GB of data.  Does anyone have any recommendations for or against certain products and why? Any information you can provide would be appreciated!

    We use CloudAlly since it was recommended by our IT vendor. Right now we are paying $18 per user per month, which is the nonprofit rate, annual payment. 

     

    Also note that now Salesforce has a System User added to each SF instance automatically (not a 'person' user). We noted this with CloudAlly, and they said they wouldn't charge us for the System User on our next invoice.

I want to create an zip file with APEX, my requirement is to extract all the documents related to an object and archive it as a zip file.

Files could be images, text, word or CSV etc.

I have tried this Link - https://github.com/pdalcol/Zippex, but it gives me a APEX CPU Limit exceeded error when I try to compress multiple files at once.

Please provide information or tell another way to solve this error using APEX?

I'm new to this group and wasn't aware of a commons project for Membership. What is the status of the product at this point? Is it released?

    Hi Sean! This project has not yet been released yet. The team is actively trying to test the current functionality to wrap up a few last pieces before we can send the package for security review testing.

Is there a workaround for the Quote Line Item Object / Discount field only having 2 decimal places?  I found an Idea Exchange listing for this that was created in 2013.  It's a standard field and it can't be changed.  I can't access the Subtotal field using a Flow, so I can't use a custom number field.

I am unable to complete the challenge of cloning the Net Zero Cloud Manager perm set to create the Net Zero Cloud Manager - clone perm set because I receive the following errors: 

 

- ViewAllRecords on SustainabilityStakeholder requires ViewAllRecords on at least one of these objects: ContactViewAllRecords on SustainabilityStakeholder requires  

- ViewAllRecords on at least one of these objects: VehicleAssetEmssnSrc, StnryAssetEnvrSrc 

 

I am not able to edit the ootb Net Zero Cloud Manager perm set.  Has anyone faced this issue?

Hello. Does Tableau elearner subscription cover the software or one has to pay separately for desktop, server and prep? I signed up, got customer portal access but no product key, access code or download prompt. Any help?

I have several issues on my digital experience site :  

 

Last week the URL of the site change by itself, I don't know why and how... 

Before it was : https://

Since the 16th of june it's : htpps://

holdingname.my.site.com/sav

 

 

Today, our clients can't reset their password. When they follow the steps to do it they receive a link by email. The link goes to a first page (1) : 

https://holding.my.site.com/sav/_nc_external/identity/ui/login/ForgotPasswordInterstitial[...]

 

 

They have to click a button "reset the password" and they should arrive on the page to define their new password (2) :  

https://holdingname.my.site.com/sav/_ui/system/security/ChangePassword[...]

 

Unfortunately they come back to the home page to login... 

 

I search everywhere in the Builder, Workspaces and Setup to try to verify the link of the button "reset the password" but I can't find where to configurate this page (1) nor the second page to define the password (2). 

 

Can you help me please ? Thanks !
