Hello everyone, I hope you're all having a great week! 

 

I'm currently working hard towards my Salesforce Admin certification, and I'm really excited about it! As I've been looking at job postings on LinkedIn, I've noticed that most Salesforce Admin roles ask for a bit of experience (around 1-3 years). Since I'll be brand new to the certified world without prior professional experience in this area, I'm wondering if anyone has some friendly advice or tips on how to gain practical Salesforce Admin experience that would really help me land a job.

I do not have a record detail component to select.  I have followed all the steps and  

went back to check all the work and it's correct.

★What I want to implement 

I want to upload PDF data to the data library and chunk/vectorize it. 

 

★Implementation procedure 

Data Library>Create new library>Upload PDF data>Create search index 

 

After creating the search index, I select Data Explorer>Data Model Object>FileUDMO_SI_Chunk_dlm, but no data is created. 

 

What could be the cause?

Hello everyone 

 

Could you please help me with the following: I have a recent list view of all cases, but I want to filter by account associated with the contact. I will use this list in the community, additionally, the images I posted are in Spanish because the client has their Salesforce in Spanish 

for example: 

 

I have user X from community Y who logs in. When clicking on the Cases section, all cases for the account to which user X is associated should be displayed. 

This is my list.

Recent List view contains all cases for an account

 

User X has this information in the Contact.

The created cases are associated with an Account.

How can I match the information of the Contact where the account is located with the cases for the same account?

    Pay scale depends on experience in customization as well.

    You can go through job postings in various career site to view the expectations and salary.

Does anyone know if it's possible to use the Transform element to merge two text collections? I have two collection variables with email addresses in each. I want to merge them so all email addresses are in a single collection. I know how to do this via a loop, but it seems like something Transform should be able to handle. See screenshot for a visual.

    Mapping to target data should be from a single source. Multiple source's are not allowed.

I am trying to see why I am not getting records into a DLO and when I search for the PR_dlo name I do not find it in the Data Explorer or Query editor. 

 

When I go into the DLO tab and search for it, the Data Lake Object Status is INACTIVE.  I am unable to change the status to Active! 

  

How do I get the Problem DLOs active?  When I choose Update Status, nothing happens.

We are training organization,  In our org we have person accounts for  our trainees. 

Sometime Trainees doesn't complete the training with us, we want to bring them back to us. 

Is the Case Object good candidate for re-engagement purpose or should I go Custom Object approach?

    Hi Neha,

    Non Profit cloud works in a different manner and they have different other modules in program management.

    You can probably use tasks to track this. There is no harm in using case as well.

    Why task?

    1. It's recorded as activity under the record and easy to track (To distinguish between normal tasks you can create a recordtype and get it inserted)

    2. You can also enable recurring tasks which will be assigned to the learner and they'll be notified promptly.

    3. You can create follow ups to a task if something is not on thd flow as expected.

    4. As task belong to activity old tasks >365 days which are closed is archived. This saves storage in org as well.

    Closed tasks older than 365 days, or tasks with no due date but older than 365 days from their creation date, are archived. Archived tasks are not deleted, but are stored separately and can be accessed through exports or APIs.

    It's upto you to choose which one you need to.

Hello Everyone.  Having a devil of a time getting a valid link to a document that a logged in user on my experience site can click on and view/download a pdf.   

 

Ultimately, I have

community users logged into my experience site

and running a screen flow.  On one of the screens, I need a url link to a document that is visible on my experience site's > Content Management > Shared Content.  AND, this cannot be a public link that is accessible without logging in; they must be logged into the site to view and download the file.   

 

  • In my DEV org on the desktop, I launched Digital Experiences app.  
  • Choosing CMS Workspaces navigation item, I see my workspace there: Downloadable Applicant Files
  • If I open this workspace, I added a pdf document called Permission to Share (its title) and published it.  
  • When I return to my experience site > Content Management > Shared Content, I now see the title, Permission to Share, Content Type = Document with Created by and Published date.  

I am stuck on how to find the url to this file as it exists on the experience site.   

 

Using SOQL query with Salesforce Inspector , there are DistributionPublicURL and ContentDownadURL values but these urls are linked to the desktop, not the experience site.   

 

In the Content Management > Shared Content, the title is hyperlinked.  If I copy that link, that doesn't work.  I get the error: You don't have access to Experience Workspaces.  If you think you should have access, ask your admin for help. 

 

First, can I achieve what I need from the work I have done so far?  If yes, what am I missing to get the url? 

 

And of course, if I am going about this the wrong way, then please provide guidance.

    Hi Gerald

    Public link would be the better one as the need is to share to a set of users who viewed the file.

    Also in public link you can set access to download the file , make it password protected, set expiry date as well.

Hi there,  

 

I've gone through and completed all the necessary tasks in the Agentforce agent I built in the "Configure Agentforce for Service" trail, however, at the bottom, the "verify for 100 points" is grayed out. Will this auto sync eventually? Or is there something wrong? I don't want to have to re-create the entire agent so would love to know if you can see on your end, what is going on.  please help me as soon as possisble.
