Hi Everyone! I am new to Agentforce and using trial org to learn more about it's abilities. And I have question on 'Recommendations' Feature. I noticed that when I ask an agent to show all over due opportunities, the response generates recommendations such as list the overdue opportunities by priority, Are there any new opportunities?

, etc.,

So, I'm trying to understand how these recommendations are set up and what steps I need to take to modify them.

Thanks in advance!

You can see all the actions and the nitty-gritty details of what agent force is doing by going to setup --> Agentforce Agents --> Select the Agent in question (most likely the Agentforce (Default)) --> Open in Builder --> Now in the middle section you can see the details:You can see all the actions and the nitty-gritty details of what agent force is doing by going to setup --> Agentforce Agents --> Select the Agent in question (most likely the Agentforce (Default)) --

We couldn’t find Currency Type and ConversionRate with the correct information. Ensure that you have selected the right currency type and entered the conversion rate.

Hello.

We created a new lookup region value on our Region object. We have some employees that have region 'Dubai' assigned as their region on the Contact object. We have a couple of employees that were assigned the new region 'Saudi Arabia'.

On our Timecard object we have an existing restriction rule that allows our users to see the region, Dubai. However, if we also add the region 'Saudi Arabia' to the restriction rule then users cannot see any timecards records. If we remove the new region 'Saudi Arabia' from being referenced in the restriction rule than all employees with the region 'Dubai' assigned can see their timecard records with the exception of those with 'Saudi Arabia' assigned as their region. Both regions are being referenced using the unique 18 digit id.

Please let me know if further information is needed.

I'm stuck on the Prompt Builder Templates Superbadge Unit for the first exercise. I'm able to get the Italian translation on the record to work but I'm getting the following error and I've attached my flow -

We're starting to come across the issue where some of our contacts are retiring or leaving the industry. We're not ready to get rid of their information in Salesforce, but we don't need them actively showing up on the related contacts for an account. What are y'all doing for your retired contacts?

    @Stormi Knippers

A common approach for handling retired contacts in Salesforce while keeping their data intact includes:

    • Status Field Update – Create a "Contact Status" field with values like Active, Retired, Left Company. Filter reports and list views accordingly.
    • Custom Checkbox – Use a "Retired" checkbox and exclude these contacts from active lists, email campaigns, and reports.
    • Inactive Record Type – Move them to an "Inactive Contact" record type with a different page layout.
    • Archive with a Separate Account – Move retired contacts to a dedicated "Former Contacts" account for historical tracking.

I usually prefer creating a Contact Status to track this though. Hope this helps!

Hello,

I'm getting this sync error after I turned on Sync prospects to person accounts...

This prospect has a sync error:

insufficient access rights on cross-reference id

: (record ID) ()

The profile object settings for the B2MA integration user are as they should be and I created sharing rules for the user using a public group.

Any thoughts?

Also, when I hit Sync with CRM on the prospect record in Account Engagement, I get this version of the error message, with 'Bad Permissions'

Bad Permissions:

insufficient access rights on cross-reference id: (record ID) ()

Fixed it... A Read/Write sharing rule on Accounts (including Read/Write for Contacts) takes care of the error...

Hi everyone!

I am facing an scenario where we have built a new Customer User Experience Site to replace an old version built in Classy (tabs). The client wants to log into the original portal (classy) and be able to see content from the new site (lightning) without logging in again (they want to use both sites simultaneously). The customer users are already members of both sites.

I have been trying to configure a simple servlet network switch with an

Embedded Site URL but from what I understand, it requires both sites to have the same root domain, which is different from Classy (my.salesforce.com) to Lightning  (my.site.com

) so it is not working for me and I start thinking that a SSO configuration is the only solution for this.

Do you know if it is possible to configure the embedded site URL solution in this case? Any other ideas?

Thanks in advance.

Hello everyone,

I've been utilizing the following formula in a Screen Flow to validate an email address for some time:

REGEX({!Email_Address},"[a-zA-Z0-9._%+-]+@[a-zA-Z0-9.-]+\\.[a-zA-Z]{2,4}")

This formula was recommended by Salesforce. However, today we encountered an email address syntax that this formula does not cover: email@email..com (with an additional dot).

Any suggestions on how to handle this scenario?

Thank you.

Hi, I deleted a field we were no longer using but it is causing issues in CRM Analytics, as we see an error about the field not being available.  I tried re adding it to make changes.  If I go to Data Manager -> Connections -> SFDC Local -> Contacts and I uncheck the field in question, Save is greyed out.  If I Unselect all fields and then try to re add, if I try to add a Long Text Area(131072) field then it is greyed out.  I am hoping there is an easy to remove the field.  I am confused why this seems to be a complicated issue, even after talking to Salesforce support.  Thanks, Aron

Thanks @Amit Kumar Sorry for the late reply.  I checked Dataflows and Recipes and could not find the field so I am not sure what to do next.
