I am wondering if anyone had any experience migrating File attachments from CRM to FSC.  What are some of the tools you leveraged to do the migration if the file count over 100,000. Or did you use the ETL to bring the data to FSC.

    Hey Krishna,

If you're looking to migrate a large number of file attachments (like 100,000+) from a CRM to Salesforce FSC , yeah—it’s definitely doable, but it needs some planning. A lot of folks I know uses ETL tools like MuleSoft, Informatica, or Talend for these kinds of bulk migrations. These tools help you extract files, transform the format if needed, and load them into FSC properly—especially when you're dealing with ContentVersion, ContentDocument, and linking them with the right records using ContentDocumentLink.

If you don’t want to go heavy on ETL, you could also script it out using Data Loader, Workbench, or even Salesforce APIs (like Bulk API or REST API), but it might be more complex when handling file types, ownership, and record linkage.

The key part is making sure your files are mapped to the correct records (like Accounts, Cases, or Opportunities in FSC) and that you’re not hitting governor limits. If anyone’s already done something similar in your team or org, definitely tap into that experience—it can save you a ton of trial and error. Hope this helps!

    Hello,

The right answer is Nonprofit Cloud. It’s built specifically for nonprofits and comes with all the tools you’d need to manage volunteers, plan events, and handle grants. Marketing Cloud is more about running email campaigns and digital marketing stuff, and Service Cloud is mainly for customer service and support. So if a nonprofit wants to streamline their operations and manage everything in one place, Nonprofit Cloud is the way to go.

Hello!

I would like to remove the email composer pop-up and keep just the static one from feed. Would it be possible? How?

    Hello Corina,

If you want to remove the email composer pop-up and just stick to the regular static one in the activity feed, yes—it’s totally doable. You can go into Setup and tweak a few settings. Usually, there's an option under Email settings (like Enhanced Email or Email-to-Case settings) where you can disable the pop-up composer. Just uncheck that setting, save, and you’re good. Another way is by editing the page layout or action bar—remove the quick action that opens the email in a pop-up and make sure the Email tab is available in the activity section instead. After that, emails will only show up in the feed view and not pop out anymore. Hope this helps!

    Hello Sameera,

Yes, it's totally possible to create a Sendable Data Extension without a primary key in Salesforce Marketing Cloud, but it’s generally not a great idea. A primary key helps keep your data clean by making sure each record is unique—so you don’t end up with duplicates messing up your sends or reports. It also makes things faster and smoother when you're running queries or updating data. Plus, some automations and integrations actually depend on having a primary key to work properly. So while it’s not

required, it’s definitely a best practice to include one unless you have a specific reason not to.

I have seen this commonly in this last week, the email is coming up very slow in the inbox. I've had a mentee with whom I had to wait for 40mins to get that email. So, I'd say is that have some more patience :) I know it is frustating but I don't think there is any other way. Also, an alternate option is to create a org with an alternative email, maybe that would work faster! In my mentee's case, it didnt but worth a try!

hello,

I am unable to see the External Reservation option under Data Cloud Object. I have read through the solutions provided in this community and tried to go to Data Model tab but could not find any External Reservation option. I have done all the steps according to the trailhead instructions many times but still could not find out what is the problem...

cannot locate external reservation

It sounds like you’re working on the Salesforce Data Cloud module and the "External Reservation" object isn’t visible. Here are a few things you can try to fix this:

    ✅ Troubleshooting Steps:

    1. Check the Right Data Space / Model
      • Go to Data CloudData Model tab.
      • Make sure you're viewing the correct Data Space where the objects are created (e.g., Unified Profile, Reservation Data).
      • Some objects like External Reservation may only show under a specific Data Stream.
    2. Refresh the Data Model
      • Sometimes objects don’t appear until the Data Stream is ingested and activated.
      • Go to Data Streams → Ensure your stream is Active and data is processed successfully.
    3. Check Object Filter/Search
      • In the Data Model Objects tab, use the search bar to look for “External Reservation”.
      • Also check if filters like Status: Active/Inactive are hiding the object.
    4. Re-check Trailhead Steps
      • Ensure you have completed all mapping and activation steps from the previous units. Missing even one step can cause objects not to appear.
